CEFTA Forum of the Chambers of Commerce

Chambers of Commerce in the eight CEFTA Parties have come together to form a “CEFTA Forum” to promote CEFTA to their members and to allow for better dialogue with governments and CEFTA structures. The CEFTA Parties have welcomed this initiative and the Joint Committee has indicated its intention to work closely with this body – see Ministerial Declaration September 2007. Under the CEFTA Forum, the Chambers have established working groups that mirror the CEFTA structures – the Working Group on Agriculture, the Working Group on Customs and the Working Group on Non Tariff Barriers.  The CEFTA Forum met as part of CEFTA Week 2009 and a representative of the CEFTA Forum briefed government officials on their deliberations in advance of the Joint Committee Meeting.  Links to the individual chambers are provided below.
